We love educating our buyers throughout the home-buying process. By listening intently to understand your needs and wants, we’ll help you navigate each step below—making it simple, understandable, and enjoyable. Let’s get started on finding your new home today!
For our first meeting, compile a wishlist so we can determine what’s most important to you in a home. During this meeting, we’ll review your home requirements and discuss how we can work together to achieve your goals. We’ll also provide a buyer-broker agreement outlining how we’ll serve you and set the foundation for a successful home purchase.
We’ll connect you with our trusted lending partners to determine how much you can borrow for your new home. Prepare to provide financial documents like W-2s, tax returns, and pay stubs. We can confidently begin your home search once you’re armed with a pre-approval letter.
You’ll get e-mail notifications each time a new property becomes available that matches your criteria. When a home piques your interest, let us know, and we will send you additional supporting documents such as property disclosures, the deed, or tax bill.
Plan your search. Schedule Showings and attend Open Houses.
We will give you our recommendations for the best strategies as we pull together and present our offer. Seller may either accept, reject, or counteroffer with different terms. When your offer is accepted, you’ll send your earnest money deposit to take that home off the market.
We move on to Inspections to determine the health of the house and negotiate any repairs. This is your time to perform ‘due diligence’ on the property and review all documents and reports on the home. Your lender will order an Appraisal to ensure your offer’s price is in line with the market value.
The ‘Closing’ is scheduled with you and the sellers and is typically held at the Title Companies office. You will bring a valid ID and owed monies in the form of a bank/cashier’s check made out to the Title Company. You sign the closing documents and receive the keys to your new house!!
It’s time for a high-five and congratulatory toast! Then head over to my Style Guide for inspiration & tips to deck out your new place.
